Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Mustafa Aksu attended the meeting of National Rural Network Information of Turkey and stated that "we encourage adoption and participation of all stakeholders of rural development policy through the national rural network."
Mustafa Aksu said that, as ministry, they were very careful in determining rural policies and that they took the opinions of all stakeholders and local dynamics.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Aksu stated that Turkey implemented many rural development programs and 2014-2020 National Rural Development Strategy Document prepared in coordination and with the participation of relevant stakeholders.
Aksu expressed that they aim to establish rural development activities in line with the requirements of the European Union (EU) harmonization process while following closely the trends in the world in general.
Mustafa Aksu emphasized that sense of belonging is very important in the development of policies and he continued "As the Ministry, we know very well that the development in rural areas can be sustained through cooperation and mutual trust. With a participatory and unifying strategy, we aim to reveal our people's potential and experience."
