Turkey will host "Agroexpo 14th International Agriculture and Livestock Fair" which is one of Europe's four biggest agricultural fairs.
Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli will attend the opening of the fair to be held in Izmir on 7-10 February. The sector stakeholders such as producers from abroad, agriculture and livestock firms, domestic and foreign tractor manufacturers will participate in the fair that be held on an area of 130 thousand square meters.
Minister Pakdemirli stated that business people, private sector representatives, academicians and non-governmental organizations from different countries will come together at the fair and that new opportunities will emerge in the field of agriculture as the areas of potential cooperation through the organization.
Pakdemirli highlighted that during the fair this year for the first time a Summit for Agriculture Ministers will be held and said: "16 Ministers, Deputy Ministers from different countries, representatives of international organizations and more than 30 high-level delegates will participate in the fair."
