I would like to come from Denmark to Council and have a say in the agriculture of my country which I intend to make a definite return…
Agriculture should be made more attractive in our country…
Food chain should be formed and followed up from planting until reaching the consumer…
The condition of planting trees should be brought to the people who receive farmer support…
Pesticides must be returnable…
These were only a few of the 10 thousand views that have come up to date for III. Agriculture Forest Council introduced on July 17…
Works continue at full speed for III. Agriculture Forest Council which will be held after the 15 years break. 21 working groups, composed of 1.611 participants, formed within the framework of the Council, are nearing the stage of preparing reports that will guide 25 years of the agricultural forest.
In the process of the Council, which is planned to be held in October, suggestions from all stakeholders of the sector, 1.6 million farmers registered with EKS (farmer registration system), "Report your opinion" platform on the ministry website, phone message and electronic mail continue to come.
While incoming suggestions are examined one by one and forwarded to the working groups for their assessment, some messages also draw attention.
MINISTER PAKDEMIRLI WILL INVITE OUR GASTARBEITER CITIZEN TO COUNCIL
Muhammad Guzel, who expressed his views from Denmark and expressed his wish to join the Council, is one of our citizens who shares his ideas. Güzel who living in Denmark but plans a definite return to Turkey expressed his wish to participate in the Council meeting and presented his proposals. Minister Bekir Pakdemirli, who closely follows the Council process and demands, will also invite our citizen Muhammed Güzel to Ankara for the Council.
Another producer Osman Gökçe contributed to the process with a letter he sent from Malatya. Gokce indicating that farmers were not consulted personelly so far and firstly by offering thanks and proposed making agriculture attractive.
One of the notable suggestions is the idea of establishing a food chain. Bilal Hamurcu from Hatay, who proposes the creation of an imprint that will include all stages of a product from the producer to the consumer, the seed used, the first and the last price.
Another remarkable proposal from our manufacturer was the requirement of planting trees for the support given to farmers and in this way, our country's tree presence can be increased.
Again, one of the suggestions made with the homeland soil in mind was the idea that the pesticide packages should be returnable. Our producer, who reaches us from Kırşehir, proposes a returnable package to prevent our soil from being poisoned by pesticides or residues.
Some of our citizens demanded to attend the Working Group meetings instead of giving their opinions via messages and had the opportunity to make their voices heard by taking part in those meetings.
In addition, suggestions and opinions are sometimes transmitted to our Ministry via short videos. In the videos, some beekeepers asked for a solution to their accommodation certificate problem for their hives. Some farmers expressed their thanks for their savings thanks to modern irrigation systems and supports and asked for more support. Others demanded marketplaces for their crops and demanded support and incentives to increase farming employment.
