TAGEM and FAO Sub-Regional Office have launched a Project to support information exchange and capacity development in the area of agricultural research between the stakeholder countries of Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Moldova and Turkey under the FAO-Turkey Food and Agriculture Partnership Program (FTPP II) funded by the Republic of Türkiye.
Within the scope of the project, online and physical trainings will be provided to the researchers of the stakeholder countries under three main areas (Plant Breeding, Plant Protection and Agriculture 4.0).
Plant Breeding Training, the first online training in this context, started on September 5, 2022.
Within the scope of the training program, TAGEM experts gave courses on Horticulture and Field Crops Breeding to researchers from Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova and Uzbekistan on 5-6 September 2022.
