FOOD AND ALCOHOL CONTROLS ARE INTENSIFIED BEFORE FEAST IN ANKARA
Following the intensification of food and alcohol inspections in Ankara prior to the feast, the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry teams conducted inspections in various restaurants and entertainment venues.

788 INSPECTIONS IN 2019
This year since New Year's Day, 788 inspections have been carried out at points where alcoholic beverages are offered or sold. No negativity was detected in 751 of these audits. Some of the 37 businesses that were found to be negative were given time to remove deficiencies, and some were applied necessary administrative actions. In particular, inspections for alcoholic beverages were further intensified in July. This month, about 100 inspections have been carried out so far.

In the market inspections conducted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in July, at the points where ethyl alcohol was sold, 243 liters of ethyl alcohol were found to be inappropriate and these were sequestered by the authorities.

When our citizens are shopping, consuming food and beverages in he public, they can report any negativity they see to the 'Alo 174 food line'. On the other hand, the consumer can control the label information, content and suitability and can also make a physical check of the product they receive, but in case of any suspicious situation, they can contact the relevant Agricultural Organization or report directly to 'Alo 174 food line'.
Under the Coordination of the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, the teams started inspections in kitchens of various locations. Teams also inspected bottles of alcohol and collected samples.
