​a) Determining principles and procedures for the analysis of water data,

b) Conducting the related work (compiling, and classifying) for water infrastructure and water resources data, and publishing the outputs,

c) Coordinating the circulation of water-related data, organizing and reporting the data, supplying the data needed and sending the data produced to the requesting institutions and organizations,

d) Conducting research and making suggestions on the determination of the principles and methods for the analysis of water data, 

e) Analyzing the water resources data,

f) Conducting the research and trainings on the statistical analysis of water data,

g) Checking the accuracy and suitability of the water quality monitoring data and water quantity data, and reporting the results by using statistical approaches,

h) Conducting the data analysis processes needed for the analysis of water-related data and the production of statistics, i) Creating an inventory for the outputs produced, and coordinating the development of software required,

j) Following and reporting national and international progress on working fields of the Working Group, preparing legislations, guidance documents, training activities,

k) Performing other duties assigned by the Head of Department.
