a) Coordination and following up the international studies and agreements to be carried out within cooperation with bilateral, multilateral, regional and international organizations on the water management,
b) Providing data, information and strategic opinion that will form the basis of international relations on water management,
c) To follow the international developments in the field of water management and reporting them to the higher authorities,
d) Coordinating, announcing, following up and conducting the secretariat activities and reporting results of the international symposiums, congresses, forums, trainings and similar activities to be organized by the General Directorate,
e) Preparing information notes that will contain cooperation activities, problems encountered, developments and solutions for the travels to various countries by the Authority and for high-level meetings such as Joint Economic Commissions and the Strategic Cooperation Council,
f) Executing the work and transactions related to international relations within the scope of the duties of the General Directorate,
g) Sending invitation letters to individuals and delegations from international organizations, providing convenience in terms of visa, as necessary, to carry out studies on preparing travel and technical training programs, to fulfill official procedures and protocol requirements, to make or have translations, interpreting and guiding for foreign guests,
h) Following up and announcing the international symposium, congress, training, workshop and similar activities on water management, and coordination of the ensuring of the participation and monitoring the results,
i) Coordination of the water quality sector of the Environment and Climate Change Chapter of European Union,
j) Coordination and following up the planning and programming process of international and externally financed projects,
k) To follow and report national and international studies on matters within the scope of the duty of the Working Group, to prepare legislation, to prepare or have guide documents prepared on needed issues, to carry out training studies or to have them made,
l) To perform other duties assigned by the Head of Department.
